Short description: The scope of the material will allow the students to the practical use of the possibilities of technical and technological machines and equipment used in modern agriculture in the use of pesticides. In addition, knowledge of the subject is taught enables authorization to use plant protection products, testing equipment for use pesticides and advisory activities in that regard.

Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: In the terms of knowledge: Knowledge of the basics techniques of crop protection, classification of machinery and equipment, the construction and operation, conditions of proper use of the chemical methods of pest management and research methodology sprayers. Student knows the risks from the use of plant protection products Student knows the structure and the basic indicators of the machines used for the treatment of spraying In the terms of skills: Student is able to use the basic principles, theoretical basis and practical work of the technical measures during the use of plant protection products Student is able to assess the impact of technical, technological and atmospheric quality of the treatment spray The student is able to practically advantage of technical and technological machines and equipment used in modern agriculture in the use of pesticides. In the terms of social competences: Student understands the need for continuous education and improvement due to changes in law in the application of plant protection products and the use of sprayers. Student knows how to discover and identify the hazards resulting from the use of pesticides in food production, resulting in activities to reduce environmental pollution, reduce the content of pesticides in food products and increase the safety of users of equipment for use of plant protection products.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: grade obtained at classes (50%) + grade obtained at lectures (50%)
